As an art enthusiast, I’m passionate about making art fun, accessible, and educational for everyone, from DIY projects to engaging coloring pages and learning activities. My goal is to provide resources that inspire and empower families, educators, and kids to embrace their creativity. The foundation of this site was built by Elise Peterson, a multimedia storyteller, artist, and educator. Elise’s work has been featured in ELLE, NERVE, and LENNY LETTER, and she used art as a platform for social justice, always striving to make it accessible to all, particularly marginalized voices. As the founding Music Editor at Saint Heron, Elise championed inclusive creative spaces, and her children’s books, like How Mamas Love Their Babies and The Nightlife of Jacuzzi Gasket, are a testament to her ability to blend storytelling with visual art. Elise’s legacy continues to inspire me as I expand this site’s mission. While I focus on bringing more hands-on art projects, educational resources, and creative inspiration, I’m proud to carry forward Elise’s vision of art as a tool for learning and growth.
